On a rainy Saturday morning in Clarkrange Tennessee, our State Senator Ken Yager and staff, braved the inclement weather to come out to New Beginnings Youth Ranch and watch, as some of the local youth and kids from Eckerd Academy, a nearby wilderness camp worked with their wild American Mustangs in a program called the Youth and Yearling Mustang Challenge.

The kids and staff were all thrilled to meet, shake hands with and get a chance to speak with Sen. Yager.  As he talked to the kids about the horses and the program that they were involved in, the children gathered around and listened as the Senator spoke with everyone that had a question for him.

The kids and staff of New Beginnings were proud to meet such a great Tennessean as Sen. Yager. The Senator is an avid supporter of programs that involve any children, and especially the children of our great state and he was duly impressed with the success that the kids have enjoyed as they work with and learn about the Mustangs.

Receiving State recognition from Senator Yager is a great honor for New Beginnings Youth Ranch. Senator Yager presented the founders, Mike and Jo Ann Archambault with the State flag of Tennessee, and told them the flag had been flown over the state capitol for a day in their honor. He  congratulated  Mike and Jo Ann on the wonderful work that they have been doing here at the ranch and pledged his ongoing support in their efforts.
